From the gardening center at Integrity Financial Planning, we can learn a few lessons about investing from mother nature. Here in mid-March, some trees and plants are already in full bloom. Others are just barely beginning to show their new leaves. The timing for each plant is different.
We see the same principle in the investment world. Different asset classes cycle in and out of favor. Just as a variety of plants makes for a rich, beautiful landscape, so does having a diversified mix of investments make for good long-term wealth potential. As with a garden, the trick is to be patient and wait for growth to occur on its own timetable.
